Our trip to Bear Lake

I have lived in Utah my entire life, and have never been to Bear Lake! Since Blake has so many childhood memories there, we decided to go on a spontaneous trip and relive some of them altogether. We stopped in Salt Lake on our way there to pick up our bikes and to ride the trains! Cameron loved watching the people and cars go by.
If you ask Cameron to smile, this is the face he makes.
We toured Temple Square, and Cam loved seeing the statue of Jesus.
We also showed him where we got married (surprisingly he wasn't that impressed, until he saw the reflection pool) :)
When we got to Bear Lake there was only one restaurant open, the rest close for the season! It happened to have a mascot bear, which Cameron instantly befriended.
And then he found a trick or treating ghost, which he also befriended.
They also had some arcade rides, and Cameron enjoyed some time as a trucker...

and a cowboy!

We went on a bike ride down to the lake, which was gorgeous!
On our way home we stopped in Logan to see where Blake grew up. Only 9 months were in this house, but Cam really liked climbing on the rocks.
We had to stop and let Cameron pick out some penny candy (which is now two-cent candy).
We ate lunch at Willow Park, and went on a bike ride around Wilson Elementary to round out the trip before heading home. It was a great vacation and we can't wait to go back and visit again!
